I always find the “about me” page difficult. As a photographer my job is about you. But because you let me into your lives I would love for you to know a little more about me!
I am a follower of Jesus. He is the one that gets me through it all and provides me with joy in the good times and the bad. I am a christian and I value people and life. I so appreciate this avenue of loving people that God has given me!
I am a wife and a mother. That is probably the shortest and sweetest way to say that I have one of the most important jobs in the world! I get to love and encourage my husband who daily encourages me in my daily goal. (He also assists me on weddings!) I have had the privileged of bringing two babies into this world. I am also currently expecting out third! I also was challenged by loosing two pregnancies. They were some of the darkest and brightest times in my life. I can honestly say that I have never felt God so strongly than when I was in pain. My life is so full and I have been so blessed.
As a photographer, I have been taking pictures for years! I have always loved capturing moments in my life and the lives of those that I love. I have been doing it for 7 years for others that have inquired of my services and in those 7 years I have learned so much about life, love, and who I am as an artist. It is truly an art and I love learning more and growing with every picture I take. In those 7 years I feel like it was 4 years ago that I started to find my style. I love bright, soft, emotion filled images. Images that make you smile. Images that make you think. I love my posed pictures but its is often the photos of everyone laughing, dancing and being silly that I really love. I just love life. and I love capturing it!
About 3 years ago I started photographing weddings and have also learned so much about the amazing work that wedding photographers go through. It is such a significant moment to capture the beginning of a marriage!
I have said that my love language is photography. Taking pictures of you, or of my family is how I love. It is rare to see a mountain with out a family in front of it. I don’t often capture flowers with out a baby chewing on it. That’s because I love people and want to capture them in Gods beautiful nature.
If you have made it this far you are persistent and I already like you! If you want to chat more about capturing your family or even just be my friend I would love to meet you! Just don’t be surprised if I want to take your picture!
